You may know that premature, peri and menopausal concerns cause night sweats, mood swings and hot flashes, hair loss, and sleeplessness, but did you know that osteoporosis, cardiovascular, diabetes, and dementia risk increases in menopause? Menopause is widely becoming known as a hormonal deficiency and by addressing it can lead to health promotion and disease prevention.

Aware of the consequences of hormone deficiency?

Your future self will thank you for exploring your options

Hello, I’m Jennifer, Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in hormone health and disease prevention. Women are at a loss dealing with vaginal dryness, night sweats and hot flashes and sleeplessness. Some women have been led to believe that hormone therapy causes cancer. They may have tried something before, but it didn’t work and they gave up. I’m thrilled to discuss your options and listen to your concerns surrounding the complexities of all things peri/menopause.

Deciphering decision making around your care can be complex, and making evidence based recommendations is essential. Partnering with you in order to choose the best approach to manage the symptoms and concerns is our goal. Non hormonal approaches are possible and effective.

You’ve been in your body your whole life. What’s best for you? Hormone therapy is not one size fits all, and there are safe, effective, FDA approved approaches that are available and covered by insurance. Healthcare is a service and it only works if it’s accessible. Virtual and in person options are available.

Patches, creams, pills! Oh my!

Intial Encounter & Follow Up

I’m disappointed by the current healthcare systems that create an atmosphere of disconnect and disengagement. This type of system coupled with the media’s fear for profit is not what you will find here. If you are looking for someone that can work toward your goals, can explain the rationale behind options, and spend more than ten minutes for an appointment you are in the right place. Midlife can be a wonderful time of life and my hope is that this is what everyone can experience.

Insurance: Accepting Anthem BCBS, UMR/UHC, Medicaid and out-of-network.
